Should I buy a Canon or a Nikon?" Would a Brand Honestly, I'm embarrassed, I'm embarrassed by the complete ignorance of most people who have never touched a camera and want to become a professional photographer. It's like a person who has never studied anatomy and wants to become a general surgeon. You want to stay away from them. Think about it: Why would someone hire you to photograph their wedding? If you don't know anything about cameras, lenses, lighting, dealing with attendees (especially the mother of the bride), editing photos, understanding printing, using flash, working with the minister, etc.
