By the end of this video, you're going to see some real-life examples of good versus not-so-good Photography when it comes to selling your home This one tip alone has saved our sellers thousands and thousands of dollars and It also means the difference between a home selling quickly and sitting on the market day After day after day after week after a month. I think you get the idea. Tip number one: Before you even get ready to put your home on the market You want to stage your home to sell.

What does that mean? That means that you're positioning your furniture correctly, You're making sure that the rooms and the home flows well, You have a lot of natural light you're changing out all of the lightbulbs You're opening the blinds your letting natural light in you're getting rid of any clutter that's in the home, etc, etc, etc. So to make this process easier, what I'm gonna do is down in the links below, we're going to include a link to staging your home to sell so it gives you a full detail a lot of different tips and tricks as You prepare your home for sale.

So make sure that you check out the link below. We'll provide that to you and absolutely no cost to you. Tip number two: As I mentioned a minute ago you want to make sure that all of the lights are on every single light in the home is on and all the blinds are open you're letting that natural light in a lot of times home sellers will overlook this one important step and it might not seem super important yet, it is important. Make sure that all the light bulbs have been replaced in your home, that way It's nice and light and bright and it's showing your home in its best light.

Tip number three Make sure that you're choosing the right time of day to shoot the photography for your home. Because the time of day actually does make a difference. It's sometimes you'll have light on the wrong side of the home. You have a lot of shadows inside of your home, It's dark It just doesn't show that well. So make sure that you have light coming in at the right angles at the right time of the day because the time of the day does make a difference.

Experience matters. Make sure that you choose your photographer wisely. L ike any industry you have people that are brand-new and just starting out and might not have that same level of experience as somebody that's been doing it for two, four, five, seven years and they're experts in their field. You want to make sure that you're choosing a true professional look at examples from work that they've done get testimonials from people that they've worked with and also I would recommend talking to possibly the the last three jobs that they've done because a lot of times what professionals will do is they'll give you the people that are most happy.

That's pretty natural, right? But what you can do is you can talk to the last three clients that they had. See what that experience was like and that's gonna give you a true test of the job that they're doing Right now. Today. So, experience does matter. Let's take a time out Let's look at some differences between professional photography and not so professional photography. Enjoy. Okay back to our regularly scheduled program. Comment down below From what you've seen so far. Do you think that professional photography matters? Type "Yes" down below if you think it makes a difference. Okay, folks you only get one chance To make that first impression and trust me it matters.

That first impression is the difference between a home buyer looking at your home online and They are out the door. They've swiped right past your your home and they're no longer interested. Take the time, take the time, the energy, the effort, the blood, the sweat and the tears because, trust me, it's a lot of work to get your home ready for that photography and you only get one shot at it. So make sure that you're putting in that time, energy, effort, blood, sweat and tears to make sure that your home shines. It looks absolutely perfect. It is model home ready. You only get one chance. Today's online homebuyer is super savvy and Super picky. If your photography does not show well online It doesn't matter.

Because they are not going to look at your home. Right now home buyers are online and they're sitting in their pajamas. They're at home, They're looking through a sea of listings. There are a lot of available homes on the market You need to make sure that your home stands out It looks great and that way and they're going through all the listings the ones that look good They're putting in a pile a little pile off to the side "Homes We Like" and the homes that don't show well online for whatever reason maybe it's bedrooms and baths and maybe it's something else but A lot of times it is the photography if it doesn't stand out.

It doesn't look good They are absolutely just wiping right by it and it goes in the pile of homes that "We Don't Like" or we don't care about or it does not look nice. Tell me that photography doesn't matter It does It matters very, very, very much So, I think you're getting the clue that I feel that professional photography matters very much. So let's wrap this up people. I want you to think back for a second and think back to the last experience that you had with a real estate agent. Did they use professional photography? That's my question to you Or if you're working with a realtor currently, Did they use professional photography? or as you're s earching online and just curious and looking at homes pay more attention, Are those people using a professional? or are they going in and taking pictures with an iPhone and I call that an amateur.
