Panasonic 45-175mm Vario – GREAT MOVIE MAKER !
[Music] hey what's up guys welcome back to my channel my name is Carol and I created this video with only one lens which is a Panasonic 45 to 175 and this is my personal review let's get started a few moments later the last is really smaller than I played especially if you compare them to other telescope lenses it sizes only 90 meters tall its diameter is 62 millimetres and it's only 210 grams heavy it also uses very small front filters which is only 46 millimeters here you can see comparison to other Panasonic lenses and also comparison to fully extended 12 to 60 millimetres Kidman's the focal length of this lens is 45 275 millimeters it is 90 to 350 millimeters equivalent for full format cameras it gives you angle of view from 27 to 7 degrees the lens operate with aperture from f/4 to f-22 while the maximum aperture for fully extended lens is 5.6 its ability to create background separation it's not as great as for prime lenses however we can create it by keeping right distance from the object and the background the nearest focus distance of this lens is 90 centimeters which extends a little bit while assuming the entire lens is made of plastic which makes it really light except of the mount which is made of metal well design plastic hood comes in the package the lens has 14 glass elements in 10 groups and 7 aperture blades the Underland has done a surface coating which prevents from reflection and flare the lens doesn't extend while zooming in or zooming out because all the elements are moving inside this vapour to Panasonic glass has three functional elements focus ring seminary and zooming trigger all these elements communicate with optical system by wire the trigger adapted to the lens is a real gamechanger inherits from endlessly while video shooting which let us change focal lengths smoothly without shaking of the camera body since you don't have to twist the ring anymore in the result we have nice silent transition and stable video great thing about this lens is the fact that it has image stabilizer which helps a lot these two feature make this lens great performer for video making probably your question is if the Lance is water resistant it looks like it could be well it's not since this is a zoom Lance I prepared a test for 45 millimeters 100 millimeters and hundred 75 millimeters for : my first test defines sharpness and depth of field the last generates the shortest image while using 45 millimeters for : however as you can see on the close-up the image isn't very sharp especially if we compare it to panasonic 42.5 diamonds maximum aperture of 1 0 creates average blur [Music] for focal length of hundred millimeters you can notice informatique aberration while shooting with the lowest aperture value all the rest in terms of quality seems to be the same for 175 millimeters the purple reflections are even more visible it seems to be better while using higher aperture values and seems to disappear close to f11 overall the image predicted by this lens is quite soft and colors seems to be worked out here you can see some examples my second test is based on very simple grade you can notice some vignetting for the lowest aperture values but it's fairly visible you may see it on these examples those handles distortions and anything very well [Music] I think that they have worked very good it's quick and responsive sometimes my camera is hunting but I think it happens only when the lens is fully extended also from time to time the AF lacks a little bit but I personally prefer a manual focus wave function of AF button on the LCD screen I haven't observed any hair issues while taking pictures okay guys let's talk about advantages and disadvantages I always start with glasses that panasonic glass gives us three nice close up at the same time it's really small and lightweight especially in comparison to other Tolleson lenses for full frame cameras when I plan to make some video shooting I always take it with me and probably this less won't fit in your pocket but I always find place for it in my backpack new lens cost about 400 euro and you can have second handlers for about half a price you may think that in this price range you may have much better own eyes which can give you a close up up to 300 millimeters and well yes indeed but the question is do you really need that for video making I don't think so especially that other lenses in this price range are not equipped in such a things like soon trigger nano surface sculpting or image stabilizer and these features are real game changers okay can how about minuses first of all I have that mental it's not fast lens at all its maximum aperture for 45 millimetres is only f/4 and 475 millimeters it's only at 5.6 it means that in low-light environment we will have to pump our ISIL which usually decrease the quality of our footage as you notice already it's also not the sharpest lance especially if you compare it to panasonic prime glasses like 25 millimeters or forty two point five millimeters however I think it's not that bad as for a zoom lens and most likely you will not notice any downward of the image quality while video making minor disadvantage of this lens is lack of water resistance it's time to summarize it and give you my own opinion about this lens the Panasonic 45 275 millimeters is VR marked which means that this lens is definitely dedicated for video making it has great features which helps a lot to create very nice and stable close-up the shortness of this lens is average but I think it's good enough for amateur photography here you can see another example this photo was taken by my lovely girlfriend when we were walking in the park I think it's quite decent image even when it's cropped it's probably wanted to very mainland's but it will be extremely helpful to create very nice and original footage moving in close that objects that you normally can't reach and once the most important I think you can do it without a tripod so if you are a video maker or you combine both photographic or video making I think you should definitely try this out that's it for today next weekend plan to make a review of wide-angle lens which is olympus 9 millimeters I hope you really enjoyed my video and you'll live to himself don't forget to subscribe and click on the notification bar if you are interested with more content thank you very much for watching and see you next time [Music]
